TB Clinical Case Conference with NYC Department of Health

On January 30th, NYC-TRAC organized the Tuberculosis (TB) Clinical Case Conference in collaboration with the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (NYC DOHMN). The conference focused on the epidemiology and control of TB in New York City and was marked by two case presentations which involved both Weill Cornell Medicine (WCM) and NYC DOHMN for their care.
Tuberculosis Trials Consortium, Winter Meeting 2023

From December 13th to 15th, our faculty had the privilege of participating in the Tuberculosis Trials Consortium (TBTC) Winter Meeting 2023, hosted at Emory University. TBTC is a unique collaboration of researchers from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), domestic and international public health departments and academic medical centers, and selected Veterans Administration medical centers. TBTC’s mission is to conduct programmatically relevant research concerning the diagnosis, clinical management, and prevention of tuberculosis (TB) infection and disease.

NYC TRAC Annual Symposium - Future of TB Research

We are pleased to announce the successful conclusion of the NYC TRAC Annual Symposium on September 27th, 2023, which was held at the Weill Cornell Medicine in New York. The meeting provided a platform for experts and researchers to discuss groundbreaking advancements and findings related to tuberculosis research. Here's the recap of the symposium.
In the morning, Drs. Daniel Fitzgerald and Kyu Rhee started the day with an enlightening introduction of today's challenges in TB research and NYC TRAC's mission to contribute to those problems.
